The last of the anhydrous, dry fertilizer and turkey litter was applied last week with some hog manure application expected soon, Marshall said April 17. “Some of the neighbors are planting beans,” he said. “We started planting corn in earnest yesterday.” It has been dry so moisture is needed. Marshall grows row crops and has a sheep flock of 65 ewes, with lambing about two-thirds complete.
