Drainage tiles are running full as wet conditions persist this spring, said Ten Napel. Snow and ice last week toppled power lines and delayed field work in the area. Most livestock farmers were able to get livestock manure applied last fall, alleviating some pressure this spring, he said. Ten Napel grows corn, soybeans and custom feeds nursery and finisher pigs.
