“We finished our beans, other than some green spots, but just got started on corn,” Morey said Sept. 28. Most soybean yields averaged better than 60 bushels per acre, he said. It’s too early to gauge field averages for corn, but early yield checks were running from 220 to 240 bushels per acre. Moisture ranged from 17% to 20%.
