“If we could knock this wind back a little, it would be great. The last three days have been brutal,” Glienke said Oct. 13. Winds more than 45 miles per hour and rain showers have slowed harvest. Prior to last week, he harvested all his soybean fields in just eight days. Beans averaged 55 to 65 bushels per acre. Corn yields are all over the place, ranging from 165 to 230 bushels per acre.
