“Most of the beans got finished up here, and corn’s probably 80% done,” Morey said Oct. 12. “Yields are really hit and miss in this area.” Bean yields range from 47 to 65 bushels per acre with corn at 190 to 250 bushels per acre. Corn and beans are both drying down well. The region still is extremely dry despite multiple inches of rain. “Every little bit helps, but it’s going to take a lot.”Tanner Brass - Franklin County
