Innovations can cut costs for road and bridge repairs

Iowa farmers and other rural residents have an opportunity to help their counties upgrade and repair rural roads and bridges in innovative ways that can save taxpayer money, provide safer structures and increase agricultural transportation efficiency, according to Mike Steenhoek, executive director of the Soy Transportation Coalition (STC).
