A new feed and grain complex will replace aging facilities and further Iowa State University’s (ISU) research and program initiatives. The educational and research facility for feed milling and grain science is scheduled to be completed by harvest 2020.

Dirk Maier, professor of agricultural and biosystems engineering at Iowa State University, says the project makes sense.

“ISU has sizable livestock production, an animal science department, and researchers who need feed for trials and maintenance for the herd we have,” Maier said.
