Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) President Brent Johnson urged the Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to withdraw their proposed rule to revise the definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS) in official comments submitted to the agencies last week. 

IFBF also signed on to joint comments submitted by the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) and 20 other ag groups urging withdrawal of the proposal, which would re­place the Navigable Waters Protection (NWPR) rule.
