House passes water quality funding bill

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) applauded the passage of Senate File 512 by the Iowa House of Representatives to provide secure, long-term and dedicated state funding to support Iowa farmers’ efforts to advance conservation and water quality.
The bipartisan approval last week sends the bill to Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds. Reynolds has expressed her enthusiasm for the water quality funding measure and her determination that this legislation will be the first she signs as governor.
