Iowa’s pork producers are en­couraged to request a customized on-farm sustainability report that will help measure and document sustainability efforts on individual farms and the pork industry as a whole.

At the Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines Jan. 26, representatives from the National Pork Board and industry experts said quantifiable data is key to providing educational information to the public and companies about environmental practices pork producers have been conducting for decades.
