This season’s ranked Iowa State Men’s Basketball team has reinvigorated Cyclone fans and returned the magic to Hilton Coliseum. To top off the excitement, Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) and Iowa State University (ISU) Athletics are giving one lucky winner the chance to cheer on the Cyclones in Kansas City with the “Hilton South” Farm Strong® Challenge.

One grand-prize winner will receive two all-session passes for the Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament in Kansas City on March 9–12, a $900 hotel gift card, Iowa State “Farm Strong” apparel and a $150 gift card to Cy’s Locker Room.

To enter, visit IowaFarmBureau.com/FarmStrong and answer three questions related to how farmers care for their animals and the environment and the nutritional value of animal protein. Contestants can enter daily through February 20 and will receive one entry for each correct answer (up to three daily) to earn more entries. A winner will be announced on March 2 during Iowa State’s final home basketball game of the regular season.

“We’re proud to partner with Iowa State Athletics and share information to help consumers make informed choices about their food and fuel. This contest is just one way we try to do that, and we appreciate Cyclone fans taking the time to learn more about what makes Iowa farmers so proud to do what we do—provide high-quality, nutritious food and fuel to our communities while protecting natural resources,” says IFBF President Brent Johnson, a farmer from Calhoun County.

All season long, Cyclone basketball fans visiting Hilton Coliseum will have a chance to win grocery gift cards by testing their farm knowledge through Iowa Farm Bureau’s Farm Strong Trivia available through Iowa State’s Digital Seat platform as part of the ongoing Farm Strong partnership. Additionally, a portion of the sale of all Cyclone-themed Farm Strong merchandise and apparel benefits the Iowa Food Bank Association. To date, the Farm Strong initiative has raised over $30,000 to feed hungry Iowans.
