Deep differences remain on several farm bill programs beyond the much-talked about nutrition title, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Mike Conaway (R-Texas) said during a stop in Iowa last week.

However, he said key negotiators remain steadfast in their commitment to getting a new bill passed this year, even if Democrats win control of the U.S. House of Representatives during the November mid-term election.
