Taylor County Farm Bureau members Theo and Bonnie Ramsey are passionate about rural Iowa. That’s why back in 2015, the couple purchased a historic grocery store in Lenox.

“We recognized that Iowa’s rural communities were losing their grocery stores left and right,” Theo explains. “What could anybody do about it? And we thought maybe it was us.”

Ramsey’s Market offers traditional grocery store staples including a deli counter, fresh produce and a bakery.
