Iowa farmers donate pork to local food banks, which are seeing an increase in demand for food relief because of the pandemic. 
Last month, the Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship launched the Pass the Pork campaign to provide ground pork to Iowans struggling with food insecurity due to COVID-19 business closures.
