The federal government shutdown continued into a second week last week, resulting in the cancellation of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) October crop production and World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) among other reports. 

U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins also said an economic aid package for farmers will be delayed until after the shutdown ends.
