Farmland values are inching higher despite stagnant corn and soybean prices, according to the latest survey by the Iowa chapter of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI).

The survey, which estimates values as of March 1, shows a 2.9 percent statewide average increase in Iowa cropland values since last September and 4.9 percent gain compared to a year ago.
