As recent government reports confirmed, the 2014 U.S. corn and soybean crops, will be bin busters. Now the question shifts to the demand side of the equation and how much the big 2014 crop will be used domestically and how much will be exported.

The good news is that both domestic and export demand looks strong for soybeans and corn, according to Chad Hart, Iowa State University Extension crop specialist. But there appears to be more strength on the soybean side, especially for exports to China, he said.
