Drought conditions expanding in Iowa

The long term weather outlook for the 2021 growing season mirrors 2020, according to Art Douglas, professor emeritus of atmospheric sciences at Creighton University.

 Hot, dry weather is likely to remain in place across the Upper Midwest thanks to La Nina conditions in the Pacific, he said  in his annual weather outlook at the CattleFax presentation to the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Winter Reboot Convention.
