Developing a winning crop marketing plan
The unknowns of the upcoming corn and soybean marketing year are numerous: crop size, demand, weather, trade impacts, etc. All these factors come in the wake of the United States producing the six biggest corn crops in history in the past six years and the five biggest soybean crops produced in the past five years. All this uncertainty adds up to major financial risk in managing the margin between prices and costs of production.
