Exports and international competition significantly influence the price of U.S. corn and soybeans, said Christopher Pudenz, economics and research manager at the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF), at the IFBF annual meeting in Des Moines last week.

This trend is evident in Brazil’s corn production, achieved by double-cropping corn and soybean acres in the same season thanks to the warm environment.
