Ag leaders cheer the choice of Wintersteen to lead ISU

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF), along with the state’s other leading ag organizations, last week applauded the appointment of Wendy Wintersteen as president of Iowa State University (ISU).
The appointment of Wintersteen, who has served as dean of ISU’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) since 2006, underscores the importance of agriculture to the university and to the entire state, ag leaders said.
