The American Farm Bur­eau Federation’s (AFBF) priorities for the 2023 Farm Bill include protecting current funding levels and prioritizing risk management tools, AFBF President Zippy Duvall said last week. 

With farm bill hearings ex­pected to resume again later this year, AFBF outlined more than 60 priorities identified by a working group of Farm Bureau members and staff. Farm Bureau delegates from across the country will consider and give final approval to the priorities during the AFBF annual convention in January, Duvall noted.
