Yes, Iowa Farm Bureau works for Iowa’s farm families, but our work benefits Iowans in all walks of life. It’s always been that way, ever since Iowa Farm Bureau was created in 1918. Back then, farmers, teachers, bankers, chamber of commerce officials, and other community leaders joined forces to support a way of life and an economic driver that benefitted all of them: agriculture.
Today, agriculture continues to drive Iowa and its communities (accounting for 1 in 5 Iowa jobs). Iowa Farm Bureau champions and defends that progress by working for Iowa’s farmers, strengthening rural communities, investing in Iowa’s future, promoting quality healthcare for Iowans, and helping our neighbors.
