““I did 18 acres of soybeans yesterday,” Hofland said Sept. 21. “The first load came out of the field at 14.6%. Then we got into a later variety, and they were getting a little bit wetter, so we quit.” Early yield reports for soybeans are above 60 bushels per acre. It will be a couple weeks before his corn is ready to harvest. Alfalfa has 6 to 8 inches of regrowth since the last cutting. ”” ”
