Wall Street Journal: For U.S. Farmers, China Tariffs’ Timing is Brutal
AFBF President Zippy Duvall had the first quote in a Sunday, (March 25, 2018) Wall Street Journal article about trade. “This could not be happening at a worse time for American agriculture,” Duvall told the WSJ, referring to the escalating trade battle with China. Tariffs the Chinese government is expected to slap on U.S. ag exports including pork, fruit and nuts, will only serve to exacerbate the slumping U.S. farm economy.
