Interest in cover crops and water quality is growing in the state, a Farm Bureau-led conference showed last week. The conference, which was held in Fairfield, attracted a crowd of about 200 people.

The event, which was made possible in part through a SHARE grant, was held to explore some of the benefits of cover crops and to learn from farmers who had experience growing cover crops in their fields.
