The promise of E15 remains stronger than ever as the ethanol in­dustry recently marked the first anniversary of year-round sales. 

“You always want things to go faster than they have, but we also knew it was going to take a multi-year process to build this market,” said Monte Shaw, executive director of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association. “We worked for eight years and two presidential administrations to get year-round E15 sales.”
