The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for a proposed bridge replacement on Iowa 144 over East Buttrick Creek, approximately 6.7 miles south of Iowa 175 in Greene County.

The proposed project includes the removal and replacement of an existing 125’ x 26’ continuous, three span, steel I-beam bridge with a twin 10’ x 12’ box culvert.

Construction of the project is expected to begin in 2023.

Through traffic on Iowa 144 will be detoured using U.S. 30, U.S. 169 and Iowa 175. For more information, see the website listed below.
