While it may not be a banner year for corn and soybean yields in some parts of Iowa, livestock producers don’t have to worry about running out of feed or managing high feed costs right now.

“We’ll go into fall with plenty of grain,” said Dr. Chad Hart, an Iowa State University (ISU) Extension crop market specialist. “This will continue the trend of lower feed costs that has defined the past two to three years.”
