PRRS variant triggers uptick in swine deaths
The porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) 1-4-4 L1C variant, identified in 2020, is largely responsible for the recent uptick in PRRS deaths in swine herds in Minnesota and the upper Midwest, said Paul Yeske of the Swine Vet Center at the University of Minnesota recently.
