Output gains will help drive down fertilizer cost

Nitrogen fertilizer prices will fall by nearly 50 percent as the result of lower corn prices and growing fertilizer production in the Midwest, fertilizer consultant Jeff MacKenzie said last week at the Iowa Farm Bureau’s Economic Summit in Ames.
