The award, a joint effort between the Governor’s Office, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, recognizes farmers who have taken voluntary action to improve or protect Iowa’s environment and natural resources.
Nominations are due by June 15. Winners will be recognized on Aug. 15 at the Iowa State Fair. Go to https://www.iowaagriculture.gov/EnvironmentalLeader.asp for a nomination form.
