“It has been hot and dry in Marshall’s region with only 0.2 inch of rain over the last month. “I’m still probably a week away from combining beans even though it has been dry,” he said Sept. 18. There has been some early combining of beans and corn reported. “But everything here still has some green on it,” he said. Chopping of silage is complete, and haying is finishing up, he added.”
