Mike Dierenfeld Family (MFD) breeds and raises purebred polled Herefords near Northwood in Worth County.

Mike Dierenfeld bought his first two Hereford cows in 1985 from a veterinary practice associate in Minnesota. His daughter was 3 years old, and he figured someday he would be needing 4-H calves.
