Marshall has had 2.8 inches of rain the last two weeks. “It’s plenty wet,” he said Aug. 7. Get up high, and you can see a few wet spots and short, yellow corn. Some corn along field edges is showing shredded leaves. “I assume that’s the wind,” he said. Beans have gained height and are setting pods. Fungicide spraying continues. “It’s been tough to get hay made,” he said. “Everything’s rained on.” ;
