“Two inches of rain last week hit at the perfect time as corn begins to pollinate, Hofland said July 13. High winds knocked some corn over, mostly in continuous corn fields. “I’ve got about 40 acres leaning. I think it’ll come back,” he said. “We sprayed fungicide on some of our beans, and we’re getting ready to spray fungicide on our corn now.” Tonnage on second crop hay was good. ”Joe Roberts - Wright County
