“Our corn is growing, finally,” Glienke said June 16. He said early planted corn rows are starting to close and most post-emergence spraying is done. “I’ve seen a few guys side-dressing, but mostly they’re focused on (spraying) beans,” Glienke said. His area needs rain. Corn leaves were rolling during the recent heat wave. “That’s not good this early in the year,” he said.
