“Things really look pretty good here after the widespread, 1.5-inch rain we got this week," Sievers said June 11. High winds, which accompanied the rain, don't appear to have done much lasting damage, he said. Crops are growing quickly, and early-planted corn fields are closing rows, Sievers said. Farmers have finished corn spraying and are wrapping up on soybeans.
