“We are extremely dry. A lot of corn is getting a pineapple top on it,” Hoffman said June 10. Some soybeans had to be replanted due to frost damage at the end of May. “Most of the corn has pretty well recovered. It looked pretty bad,” Hoffman said. Most of the first cutting of hay has been put up, although production was off compared to normal.
