Farmers were finally about to wrap up planting and have moved on to post-emergence spraying on corn, Vander Velde said June 8. “It was a struggle,” he said. “A few guys changed from corn to beans, but not as many as I thought.” Corn ranges from V1 to V6 and soybean growth also varies due to scattered planting windows. Emergence was good considering planting conditions.
