Marshall was finishing up planting corn Wednesday last week and switching to beans. The region saw 0.7 inch of rain and cool temperatures, which kept some out of the fields. Overall, many are done with corn, like Marshall, and are moving to beans. “Hasn’t been much spraying due to the wind,” he said. “Not ideal conditions.” Warm and dry is needed to finish planting and herbicide application.
