“We’ve been sitting for three weeks,” Hammen said May 17. “Today we’re finally getting back into fields in some places.” He estimates 7 inches of rain or more has fallen in his region. “Right now, we’re seeing a lot of uneven emergence and possible replants on corn,” Hammen said.
