“I’m kind of disappointed we didn’t get any rain,” Marshall said May 15. “We haven’t had anything since the first of May.” Corn and beans are planted. “Right in this area, basically everybody’s done,” he said. There may be some replanting of early corn due to cool conditions. “Most of our corn is up ... The beans planted May 7 are up,” he said. “I think we’re going to be cutting hay here pretty quickly.”
