“There’s not a lot done, but there are a few fields planted,” Kooiker said April 22. “I think most guys are waiting for it to warm up a little.” He had 1 inch of snow last week, but it melted quickly. “In the next few days, guys will get rolling. We’re maybe a couple of days behind normal, but it’s not late by any means. There’s not a whole lot of years we have much planted by April 22.”
