“Things are pretty well at a standstill. We had anywhere between 4 and 4.5 inches of rain in the last two days,” Ten Napel said Oct. 3. “It’ll be close to a week before we get back in.” Just a few soybean fields have been harvested so far, with yields reported around 65 bushels per acre. Farmers combining high-moisture corn said moisture ranged from 32% to 35%.
