“We have about two to three weeks left until we’ll be done with harvest,” Boettcher said Oct. 20. She lost a half day last week to a breakdown and was planning to move cattle off pasture for the season last weekend. Boettcher said some late-season corn was still wet and hadn’t matured completely prior to the freeze. Otherwise, corn yields overall have been better than expected.
