“There is just not a lot done here, maybe a quarter of the beans, if that,”  Glienke said Oct. 12. With soybeans too damp to combine, some farmers are getting nervous and have tried to switch to corn, he said. But the moisture levels in corn are also well above 20 percent in most fields, Glienke said. Farmers are hoping for a better run this week after weekend rains move out, he said.
