Farmers are navigating around wet holes in soybean fields after more than 5 inches of rain in the past 2.5 weeks, Rosburg said Oct. 10. “We did get some beans out. They’re doing good for the year we’ve had,” he said. Early yield averages are in the mid- to upper-50s. Corn is drying down slowly, but he expects farmers to start combining corn until bean fields are fit again.
