“We finished soybeans last night,” Hofland said Oct. 5. “I was pleased with the yield. High 60s was probably the average, which was really good considering we had a fair amount of white mold and other diseases.” Soybeans were dry, testing below 8%, and didn’t take on much moisture after 0.7 inch of rain. A couple neighbors started on corn, reporting moisture from 16%-19%.”
