Hofland finished corn planting last week and was working to get soybeans in the ground before an expected round of rain. “A lot of corn in our neighborhood went in last week. I think a lot of guys are running on beans now,” Hofland said May 4. “I don’t have any early planted (crops) emerged yet. Hopefully, it warms up here in the next few days, and it’ll push through.”
